With over 35 years of dedicated public service in Lorain County, I have consistently worked to improve the lives of residents throughout our community and County. My experience has given me an unwavering commitment to public service and to making a meaningful difference for all who call Lorain County home. From City Council to executive leadership, I have led with accountibility, integrity, and a deep committment to community progress. I will continue to advocate for fair and effective service by listening to the concerns of the residents.

As a Commissioner, Carolyn's priorities will be to focus on securing quality, good paying jobs, and expanding strong economic opportunities  by addressing the unique needs in our County. She is dedicated to reviewing budgets to ensure that rural, urban, and suburban communities receive the adequate funding they require to thrive and grow. My approach is rooted in collaboration, fiscal responsibitiy, and long term planning that benefits the entire County.  

A County Commissioner should posses a deep understanding of economic development, and bugeting as a pathway to financial solutions.  My career as a Bank Manager, and Assistant Vice President  included helping individuals secure their first mortgages and assisting small business owners in obtaining loans. As a Licensed Investment representative, I managed client funds through strategic investments, thereby optimizing their returns. In addition I also hold a license as an Insurance agent again helping clients to focus on preservantion and leaving a legacy.  

Carolyn's first task as Commissioner will be to thoroughly assess the County budget, thereby identifying where funds are allocated, ensuring they are distributed equitably for the economic well being of Rural, Urban, and Suburban communities. 

Lorain stands as one of the largest and most diverse areas in Ohio. As our communities continue to evolve, our leadership should reflect our identity. Carolyn's experience, qualifications and dedicated service to all residents will make a difference in Lorain County. Having a diverse mix ensures that everyone should benefit equally. Women in Leadership roles have continued to grow in every sector of our Country, and serve to balance our government leadership.  

Leadership is not simply a title, but something earned through service, integrity and a steadfast commitment to representing those you serve. Carolyn is confident that her qualifications and accomplishment demonstrate her ability to lead along with her dedication to the people of Lorain County in ensuring all can and will thrive.

Disciplined management and careful fiscal oversight are essential for accountability in maintaining infrastructure, housing and safety. As a licensed investment professional, and former Bank Manager, she understands the connection between local government and financing. She is committed to financial responsibility by diligently reviewing County funds and budget allocations. This will ensure each areas of our County is receiving equitable funding. 

Carolyn welcomes small businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovative ideas that will help our County grow and prosper. Working with our larger businesses, and learning of their needs will ensure they can also continue to be viable. She will listen to the concerns of our residents. Carolyn is also deeply supportive of veterans, seniors and families in transition, ensuring that ALL are given the resources and assistance they need. 

I do not believe in waiting for change, instead I actively work to make change happen. I am running to improve the  Community we all call home. My dedication to that end will be what I will work toward daily.
